Ancient woodland managed by the Forestry Commision. A very damp, misty and grey morning, but a stunning woodland. The woods also have ancient trackways, burial mounds, a banjo enclosure in addition to the literally millions of bluebells.
Another instalment of my occasional venture into abstract shots, this time close ups of water flowing over vegetation at Thursley Common. The sunlight was catching this flowing water perfectly. Difficult to capture the beautiful movement of light and water in a still image, but hopefully some of the effect is present in these shots.
A first attempt at a vertical panning techinique in the Frith Hill woods at Deepcut. This area is clear of undergrowth due to the pine trees and the army using it for training exercises (lots of dugouts and the like here), and the bare tree trunks works quite well for this technique. Quite pleased with how these turned out. Not an original idea, but a new one for me.
